NDA ELIGIBILITY 2024.

NDA AGE LIMIT 2024.
To be eligible for this examination, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Only candidates born between 02nd July 2005 and 1st July 2008 are eligible.
- The date of birth accepted by the Commission is the one recorded in the Matriculation or Secondary School Leaving Certificate, or in a certificate recognized by an Indian University as equivalent to Matriculation, or in an extract from a Register of Matriculates maintained by a University. These documents must be certified by the proper authority of the University. Birth extracts from Municipal Corporation, horoscopes, affidavits, service records, or other similar documents will not be accepted.
- These certificates only need to be submitted when the result of the written part of the examination is declared. No other proof of age is required.
- Please note that the date of birth recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary School Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate at the time of submitting your application will be accepted by the Commission. Requests to change the date of birth will not be considered or granted thereafter.
- If there is an inadvertent/ unintentional/typographical error in indicating the date of birth in the Online Application Form, candidates may request rectification along with supporting documents, as specified in the Examination Rules. This request must be made no later than the date of the National Defence Services & Naval Academy (I) Examination, 2024, which is 21.04.2024. The communication should include the candidate’s name, year of the examination, registration ID (RID), roll number (if received), complete postal address, and a valid and active email ID.
- Candidates are advised to be careful while entering their date of birth in the online application form. Any variation found during verification with the Matriculation or equivalent Examination certificate will result in disciplinary action by the Commission.
- It is important to note that no additions, deletions, or changes are allowed in the online application form for the NDA & NA Examination once it is submitted, after the closure of the window for modification of the application.

NDA ELIGIBILITY 2024 MARITAL STATUS.
The National Defence Academy (NDA) has strict marital status requirements for candidates appearing for the NDA exam. Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible to apply for the NDA entrance exam.

NDA EDUCATION QUALIFICATION 2024.
To be eligible for the NDA exam in 2024, candidates must possess the following educational qualifications:
- Army Wing: Candidates should have passed the 12th class (10+2 pattern) examination or its equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or University.
- Air Force and Naval Wings, and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: Candidates should have passed the 12th class (10+2 pattern) examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, conducted by a State Education Board or University.
- Candidates appearing in the 12th class examination under the 10+2 pattern or equivalent are also eligible to apply for the examination.
- Candidates who qualify for the Service Selection Board (SSB) interview but are unable to produce the original Matriculation/10+2 or equivalent certificate at that time, should submit self-attested photocopies to the Directorate General of Recruiting, Army HQ or Naval Headquarters, by 24th December 2024. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of their candidature.
- Candidates who have already submitted their original Matriculation and 10+2 pass or equivalent certificates to the SSB authorities during the interview are not required to submit them again to the respective Army or Naval headquarters. Certificates issued by the principals of institutions are also acceptable in cases where Boards/Universities have not yet issued certificates. Photocopies or certified true copies of such certificates will not be accepted.
- In exceptional cases, the Commission may consider a candidate who doesn’t possess the prescribed qualifications as educationally qualified if they possess qualifications that, in the opinion of the Commission, justify their admission to the examination.
Note:
- Candidates appearing in the 11th class examination are not eligible for this examination.
- Candidates who are allowed to appear in the UPSC Examination without having qualified for the 12th class or equivalent examination should note that this is a special concession, but they must submit proof of passing the 12th class or equivalent examination by the prescribed date (i.e., 24th December 2024). No requests for extending this date will be entertained due to late conduct of Board/University examinations or delayed declaration of results.
- Candidates debarred by the Ministry of Defence from holding any type of Commission in the Defence Services are not eligible for admission to the examination. If admitted, their candidature will be canceled.
- Candidates who have previously failed CPSS/PABT are now eligible for the Air Force in Ground Duty branches if they indicate their willingness in the Online Application Form provided on the Commission’s website.
So in summary, to be eligible for NDA 2024, candidates or who have passed 12th standard or equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for Air Force and Naval wings. The Army wing requires a 12th pass in any stream.
NDA NATIONALITY 2024.
To be eligible for NDA, candidates must be:

– Subjects of Nepal
– Subjects of Bhutan
– Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India
– Persons of Indian origin who have migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India
Candidates must produce a certificate of eligibility from the Government of India if they belong to any of the above categories. NDA APPLICATION PROCESS 2024.
