The SLC-SCAT is an offline test designed to identify your potential for NDA coaching and provide scholarship opportunities.
The test is scheduled for 19th January 2025 and 26th January 2025.
You should report by 1030 hours on the day of the test.
The test will be conducted at SLC Academy, 32, Shiva Enclave, Kharar-Kurali Road, Khanpur, Kharar, Mohali, Punjab.
The test consists of two sections: Maths (60 marks) and English (40 marks). The total duration is 2 hours.
The Maths section consists of 10 subjective questions drawn from the Class X/Syllabus of elementary mathematics. These questions will cover a range of essential topics, including percentage, ratio and proportions, profit and loss, decimal, square root, cube root, mensuration, time and speed, and trigonometry, among others. In the overall test pattern, it is specified that the Maths questions will be subjective rather than objective, and importantly, there will be no negative marking applied to these subjective questions.
The English section has 30 objective-type questions on vocabulary and basic grammar, and one essay-type question.
